Education

Kim completed her Bachelor degree in Psychology at London’s prestigious Regent’s University, being the only student that year gaining First Class Honors. In addition she won the Regent’s University Undergraduate Student Achievement Award for the School of Psychology, and was put on the Dean’s List.

 

Her undergraduate dissertation title concluded: “Is self-discrepancy a differential predictor of body image problems and eating disorder symptoms in males and females?”

Masters Degree

Following this she went on to do a Masters in Child & Adolescent Psychology at University College London (UCL). She was offered a clinical placement at Great Ormond Street Hospital in the Neurodisability service. During this time she was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease and went on to receive treatment from January 2016 until July 2016 by the medical staff of the Marbella Lyme Clinic.

Her Lyme disease experience was the driving force for opening up the Marbella Lyme Clinic, whereby she hopes to help people who are in a similar situation as she was with the expertise of the medical team that worked on her case.

She currently works as Administrating Director of the Marbella Lyme Clinic, as well as being Case Manager.
