Dr. Lubeck is our cardio-thoracic surgeon currently focused on vascular screening and diagnosing. With revolutionary technology that screens for vascular stiffness, vascular stenosis/occlusion as well as vascular age, allowing cardiovascular risk factors to be determined within minutes.
Dr. Lubeck attended the medical faculty of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completing his doctorate examinations in 1982, and his obtaining his doctorate licensing in 1984.
Dr. Lubeck worked at the cardio-thoracic surgery department at Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis, Amsterdam, the academic hospital of Utrecht, Spaarne Hospital Heemstede, conducting heart, lung and coronary-bypass surgeries before being appointed clinic director of the department of cardio-thoracic surgery in 1993 at Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis, Amsterdam for a period of 4 years.
He was appointed as a senior staff member in 1998 of the department of cardio-thoracic surgery at the academic hospital Dijkzigt, Rotterdam, before working as a cardio-thoracic surgeon at Hospital De Klokkenberg, Breda.
Dr. Lubeck went on to work in Curacao, working on the development and implementation of a cardio-thoracic center in the Antilles.
Upon his return, he continued his work as a cardio-thoracic surgeon at the academic hospital of Groningen, Cartharina Hospital Eindhoven, before working as a consultant cardio-thoracic surgeon in 2002 at the Parque San Antonio Clinica, in Malaga. He was registered as follow of the European Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons in 2002, registered as cardio-thoracic surgeon at the General Medical Council under number: 4490504, and registered as thoracic surgeon in Malaga in 2005 under number 29/09432, where he continued to work until 2010.
Currently Dr. Lubeck has done extensive work as entrepreneur in the medical prevention area, as well as being medical director and partner of Vascucheck BV. He is currently engaged in research on cardiovascular surgical revascularization in poor to very poor left ventricular function.
