Lyme disease specialist and director

Dr. Kingma is at the frontier of his specialty- being one of the few doctors in Europe to successfully diagnose and treat Lyme disease. As a director at the Marbella Lyme Clinic he is responsible for overseeing and creating all diagnoses and treatment protocols.

Dr. Kingma attended the medical faculty of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, completing his studies in 1988. During this time he completed internships in the medical fields of orthopedics/sport orthopedics, vascular surgery and A&E at Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis, Amsterdam. He conducted research into tibia fractures.

 

 

Following on from his studies, Dr. Kingma went on to work for Management Medisch Advies Bureau (Management of Medical Advice Agency) for occupational medicine, insurance medicine and medical examinations for individuals. As well as becoming an insurance physician for Metropolitan Life.

In 1988 Dr. Kingma started to work at the Oosteinde Kliniek in Amsterdam, starting as a part-time naturopathic physician, working up until he became the owner of the clinic in 1990. Since 1990 he has been the owner and head physician of the Oosteinde Kliniek in Amsterdam. He created a duel-practice in 2006 with fellow physician C.J. Hoffman from the Walborg Medical Centre – creating the Oosteinde Walborg Kliniek.

In addition to his extensive work as a physician and owner of the Oosteinde Kliniek in Amsterdam, Dr. Kingma has been responsible for the composition, editing and presentation of the weekly medical affairs radio program “Gezond en Blij” (“Happy and Healthy”) on National Radio Noordzee. Moreover becoming the co-author of the book ‘Gezond & Blij’ in 1995.

Through the years Dr. Kingma has done extensive presentations about coronary heart disease and Lyme disease, additionally attending the 2012 European Lyme Disease Conference. Dr. Kingma has completed extensive complimentary education including: extensive work into Lyme disease, cardiology, toxicology, detoxification, stress and neuropathy, rheumatology, diabetes, microbiology, asthma and allergies.

Currently Dr. Kingma in addition to his work as a specialist physician in Lyme disease, has been a lecturer of comprehensive training in Orthomolecular Medicine at SOE since 2000. He currently works as the chief Lyme disease specialist at the Marbella Lyme Clinic, overseeing and creating all treatment protocols and procedures.
